Current Work: Project Manager for a global product development team.  

 

Project Manager: Manage a product development team for Shure’s I2C-M product, an earphone headset designed to complement sales of Apple iPhones in AT&T stores this summer. Manage a global team to develop and manufacture the product. Communicate product details and schedule with customers. Responsible for product cost, project schedule, project budget. Develop manufacturing plan with Shure’s Juarez Mexico plant. Product shipped to customer ahead of schedule, on budget, and under cost.

 

Systems Engineer: Work with marketing to define product requirements for Personal Audio business unit.

Communicate and review requirements with internal development team and external development partners.

Lead marketing through design tradeoff analysis. Lead engineers though schedule development and planning.

Work closely with the project managers to keep project on schedule. Mentor and train new engineers.

Develop platform plan with marketing so that the technology roadmap matches the product roadmap.

Worked Shure’s booth, giving product demonstrations at Consumer Electronics Show 2007.

Lead embedded software engineer on Shure’s UHF-R project, a three-year product development effort.

Responsible for software team’s schedule, task priorities and assignments, communication with management, adherence to development process, documentation, and product software architecture

Designed and implemented object-oriented multi-tasking application and network protocol.

Product won several design awards and was used by the Rolling Stones at the half-time Superbowl XL.

 

Audio Circuitry Development Engineer, Shure Inc., 1999-2003

Digital circuitry development engineer on several Shure product development teams.

Worked closely with manufacturing and quality engineer to develop manufacturing test plans. 

Worked with German engineering development team to develop Conference One system, including presenting a legacy system overview to Shure’s Heilbronn, Germany location. Developed new microcontroller circuitry with network technology. Worked to outsource circuitry layout to new partner.

Represented Shure on Audio Engineering Society committee. Work Shure’s booth at AES convention.
